10:10:10 Blogging - how to keep it short and sweet!
It normally takes me about three hours to write edit and post my blog; which if I am going to continue to do it on a daily basis really isn't going to “fly” long-term. (That’s south London speak for it won't work). Therefore I've decided I need a much faster turnaround – something like 30 minutes. Broken down that would be 15 minutes to write, 10 minutes to edit and 5 minutes to post. Posting it takes a while because Firefox can be a real brute 90% of the time; hanging, freezing and crashing. On reflection I should allow 10 minutes to post. Okay that works out as 10, 10, 10 – short and sweet and to the point. Consequently my new challenge is what meaningful, interesting and inspiring thoughts I can convey in 10 min. Here's today's:
I had a great day. Everything that went wrong turned out to have a silver lining behind the grey clouds. I drove the wrong way, got stuck in traffic and had to abandon my breakfast meeting. Then my first appointment stood me up. This meant that I was left with time on my hands which I used to get some other things done that I've been putting off for a while. I also took the opportunity to connect with two fabulous people and they in turn offered me some phenomenal input to a new idea I’ve been working on.
The message; even when you are not looking for it the universe will support you. There is opportunity in every moment you just have to be open to receive it.
