Burning The Candle At Both Ends

Today I feel totally wiped out. I guess that's what comes of burning the candle at both ends as they say.

I seem to be spending more and more days working late; or should I say early, as at least 3 sunrises have caught me still at my computer in the last week!

I think my family are beginning to wonder if staying up all night is a sign of depression. It's not that I feel at all depressed, the words I would use to describe how I feel  are excitement and panic.

I really have found my passion with Tycoon Women. I am so excited about getting the message out to women so that they can discover their freedom and start creating real wealth for themselves.

I was at at the Women of the World festival on Saturday talking to all the feminist groups and it was great just being in touch with so much positive energy about how women can change not only their personal circumstances but also using economic power to change things on a much larger scale. I know it wont be an over night change. Indeed setting up a successful business takes time, even if you do set yourself the objective to become a millionaire in a year as Sonja Falvo http://t.chttp://t.co/vd9s6ABo/ has done.

I also made some fabulous connections and am really looking forward to some great JVs. So where does the panic come in. Well its when I think of all the bills I've got to pay and I start wondering whether or not all this hard work is doing to pay off in time, i.e. before I exhaust my investment funds. Count down is on - 3 months to realising mega cash flow.

All the pieces are being put in place and in theory they should net great results. All the feedback I'm getting indicates that it is a great concept/product and the demand is there (thank you David Cameron!) yet it still feel like I'm holding my breath. I guess it is par for the course when launching a new product. The proof of the pudding is in the eating not the baking.

All this leads me to mention that in addition to having an entrepreneur's mind set,  the other vital ingredient for becoming a Tycoon Women is (to put it crudely) 'Balls of Steel!'. On second thoughts perhaps that is the wrong metaphor. Not just because balls on a woman would be crass, but because it suggest that you should numb yourself to pain. And hiding from what is, is never good in the long run.

What I've found to be more helpful is to surround yourself with a support network of people with whom you are able to download and discharge your thoughts and ideas as well as your emotions if need be. My network (yes I do have one) consists of  some great female entrepreneurs, my mentors (I have two) my husband and some very dear friends. Oops I forgot my mum! They are the people who will hold you up when you are falling down through exhaustion, encourage you in those moments when you just want to chuck it all in and head for your comfort zone and best of all celebrate with you when it all comes right in the end.
